Ministry Apprenticeship program (Map)

Our Ministry Apprenticeship Program (see our MAP Brochure and MAP Application) is a ten-month internship for men who have completed their education, yet desire additional hands-on training and experience before launching out into vocational ministry. Training is provided in the following areas:

1. Philosophy of Ministry Development—the resident will develop a personal philosophy of ministry and be given an opportunity to implement it.

2. Personal Ministry Development—the resident will be shown how to plan and administrate the overall ministries of the church. The resident apprentice will be shown how to serve in various ministries and be given an opportunity to participate and lead in several of them.

3. Pastoral Administrative Development—the resident will be trained and evaluated in the areas of strategizing, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, financing, and filing. Accountability will be a large part of this MAP experience.
